Considerations based on state location will be considered in requiring this.           Description ROLE: Behavioral Health Tech Portfolio Coordinator About Us On April 8, 2019, Governor Jared Polis directed the Colorado Department of Human Services to spearhead Colorado's Behavioral Health Task Force. The mission of the Task Force was to evaluate and set the roadmap to improve the current behavioral health system in the state. Among almost 150 recommendations, Task Force members voted unanimously to create a new Behavioral Health Administration (BHA). The BHA will be the first of its kind, working across all payer groups to measure results, hold providers accountable, and improve access. It will be empowered to lead change, to publicly hold itself and its stakeholders accountable, and to take advantage of every opportunity to ensure Coloradans feel a sense of improved quality of life when they intersect with our system. It will be instrumental in achieving the vision to have a comprehensive, equitable, effective continuum of behavioral health services that meet the needs of all Coloradans in the right place, at the right time, to achieve whole person health and well-being. Description of Job The Behavioral Health Technology Portfolio Coordinator will work in a cross-functional team with subject matter experts as well as experts in user research and design, technical architecture, software engineering, procurement, finance, behavioral health managers and staff, procurement, and data analysis and evaluation. This person should be comfortable contributing hands-on portfolio support. He/she/they are the critical liaison and coordinator at the intersection of technology and behavioral health programs that serve the state. Portfolio Coordination  Serves as a technical liaison between Behavioral Health technology staff and OIT to ensure service and support needs are being met.  Interacts and manages operational requests that need multiple division and/or agency involvement. This may include: help desk requests and resolution; contractor processing; new employee onboarding coordination; purchase request initiation, rollout, and inventory management; managing granular technology related spending for portfolio level insight.  Maintains knowledge of community and state needs, behavioral health IT capabilities, technology, policy, and community partners across Colorado. Process Development and Management Creates new or documents current programmatic systems and procedures as necessary to increase consistency and efficiencies among BHA Technology projects and initiatives. Provides front line support for interfacing with team members on service requests, investigating and evaluating operational problems, resolving when possible, or escalating to leadership for further resolution.  Lead the effort for ensuring agency compliance with the State's project management policies and standards.
