Responsibilities:

  • 0pt\">0pt\">Serves as the organization-wide content expert on clinical measurement/analysis methods and imparts relevant details to senior leaders and quality team members.
    Continually expands/updates this knowledge.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Identifies data problems, assists in researching solutions, and recommending corrective actions to achieve higher levels of integrity and efficiency.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Writes queries for research and other requests.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Creates interactive and actionable reports of performance including deviations and anomalies.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Meets with end users to gather data analysis requirements to deliver accurate results.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Contributes to written reports and presentation materials describing project or task objectives, methods, data, and results.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Retrieves and creates benchmarks.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Troubleshoots issues and new requests that require ETL builds or modifications.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Ensures data accuracy through validation and transparency.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Supports end users on functionality and navigation of reports and information.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Supports governance, maintains and adds measures, flags and cohorts to the data catalog.

0pt\">Requirements:

  • 0pt\">0pt\">Strong data science skills using tools like SQL, R, Python, or SAS
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex analysis and make recommendations based on statistical inferences.
    Experience with a wide variety of analytical or statistical methods.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Experience with Epic Clarity and Caboodle is a plus but not required.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Working knowledge of Business Intelligence products (Tableau, Looker, QLik, etc.
    )
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Excellent oral, writing and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with varying audiences.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Demonstrated ability to articulate goals, plan and implement processes to achieve those goals, recognize and assess the implications of confounding variables.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">Independent working ability with strong time management skills.
  • 0pt\">0pt\">A Bachelor's degree in data science or related field is required for the CDA position.
    3 years of experience in healthcare, or clinical informatics environment is preferred.
