JOB DESCRIPTION :

Responsibilities:

  • The Data Manager SME serves as the main point of contact for customers to deliver solutions and delight our customers. You will work closely with our customers, clinical trial sponsors, and CROs, at the executive and study team level to bring LSAC solutions / Custom Solutions to our customers.
  • Drive customer implementations to successful launch by providing data management inputs wherever necessary.
  • Work with implementation resources, product, and engineering teams onshore and offshore to deliver innovative solutions to your customers.
  • Consult with business leaders to develop an understanding of the complex and varied data management needs required by the project. Understand the role of the project in the big picture and determine how changing business needs will affect the project.
  • Collaborate with the customer and internal resources to understand usage & adoption trends and impact increased application use
  • Partner with Product Management to help align real-world customer feedback with the product roadmap
  • Partner with Business Development and Customer Success Managers to develop solutions, estimate effort, and help set customer expectations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science or life science-related discipline with a minimum of 8+ Years of IT/CRO/Pharma experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of clinical data management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology industry or in a CRO. Experience working with EDC, IRT, third party data handling, and other clinical systems implementation is mandatory
  • Clean patient tracker, data review, missing pages, data quality checks, 3rd party data reconciliation are your forte and you know them back of your hand. Experience working with business intelligence tools like Cognos, Oracle BI, Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView, Informatica is a plus
  • Familiarity with clinical trial data and SQL is strongly preferred
  • Excellent understanding of common industry-standard business practices as related to clinical trials (Study Startup, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Reporting)
  • Enjoy working with customers, and believe that your success is deeply entwined with theirs and have the ability to solve customer and project issues, provide options and recommendations and manage escalations
  • Excel at translating customer business requirements into enterprise solutions
  • Proven track record of driving customer success and operating at the executive and department levels within complex customer environments

Work Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience working directly with customers, preferably leading implementations or owning the customer relationship
  • 5+ years of experience at one of the following strongly preferred: clinical software vendor, clinical research organization, pharma, biotech, or medical device organization
