Cloud Automation Engineer
  • Direct Full-Time Employment, target salary of ***K + extensive benefits
  • Remote work, the company is located in Detroit MI
  • We are seeking Cloud Automation Engineers on behalf of our client, a fin-tech company that has been delivering SaaS solutions to upgrade small-business banking. The Cloud Automation Engineer is responsible for the development and management of technology that empowers client product development teams to rapidly solve business problems.
    This role will collaborate with a wide range of internal partners to engineer automated solutions to reduce manual effort and promote availability, resiliency, and security for the client's platform.
    Responsibilities:
  • Work with development teams in designing and implementing infrastructure-as-a-code solutions.
  • Maintain and improve monitoring and logging tools to provide insight into platform health.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for both configuration management and application development.
  • Ensure a reliable, secure, and highly available platform for customers.
  • Balance security and risk while driving innovation through the technology stack.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Required Experience/Skills:
    • Managing highly available public cloud technologies at scale. Microsoft Azure experience preferred.
    • Deploying & managing cloud automation technologies like Ansible and Terraform.
    • Deploying & managing cloud orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
    • Deploying & managing CI/CD tools like Azure Pipelines.
    • Supporting cloud-based apps with things like monitoring, alerting, and handling escalations.
    • Enabling new DevOps practices without a well-defined roadmap
