Role: Senior Data Modeler
Duration: Ongoing contract – candidate needs to be able to C2H
Location: Jupiter, FL / Onsite 5 days a week
Notes:
- Focus on Data Modeling and SQL
- They are NOT looking for a Data Engineer / Developer
- Looking for someone with 5-6 years of data modeling experience. Do not send people that have 10+ years of experience because that is not what she wants
- Willing to give up to 6 weeks to relocate Will be onsite 5 days a week at Jupiter West. Conversion Salary $130-140K
- They do not want to train on the technical side but obviously willing to train them on the business
- Redshift is something they would train. Nice to have but not a deal breaker
- They want to bring their feed into EDP with a new design. They want to clean all of the data.
- Understand relational and data warehouse.
- Needs someone to understand when to use Snowflake
- Needs to be strong in SQL. They do not need to optimize the query.
- Irving tool
- Arthur was good data modeling – but they had some issues with his communication. (Resume attached)
- Concepts of database modeling.
- Some Questions that they should be able to answer
- What is the difference between relational and standard model?
- In what circumstances would you use snowflake vs basis design
- How would you resolve many relationships?
- Difference between DDL and DML?
