Qualifications: • College degree, MBA preferred • Commercial analytics, decision support or business strategy experience – preferably in CPG industry • Good understanding of retailer and distributor dynamics • Proven success building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and being able to successfully influence and negotiate in complex situations Key capabilities • Good communication skills – ability to articulate points of view across levels and functions • Good EQ (emotional quotient) - the role requires ability to deal across levels, functions, and personalities, supporting and challenging our business partners • Resourceful, proactive and takes initiative • Enjoys making sense of grey areas • High standards of accuracy Management Responsibility: • Reports to Senior Finance Manager – FP&AResponsibilities:Role Complexity: Complexity is high as analytical insights are required across geographies, products, and accounts. Role requires deep understanding of financial and commercial data sources, and solid understanding of the market. Role will interact with multiple stakeholders across functions including 3rd parties. Role Deliverables: • Key Finance Business Partner, working cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to deliver desired financial performance • Partner with NRM team to forecast and manage trade spend within the month, quarter, and year • Manage and analyze accompanying balance sheet trade provision also required • Partner with Marketing teams to understand phasing of spend, budget management, and balance sheet provision management • Analyze profitability and trends of portfolio to manage our mix to deliver NES/GP1 targets • Understand volume trends to provide objective viewpoint on volume projections for S&OP and innovation builds • Develop and drive standard processes, tools and reporting to enable customer performance management • Closing responsibilities include but are not limited to L06, L10, & L17 forecasting and provision management, and overall GES forecasting • Finance team lead for audit activities related to L06 for US retail and Dial Professional cost centers • Ad-hoc decision support projects to inform business decision making
