Culinary Specialist Apply
Contractor would come in each day, be given a prep list from Brands Chef, gather the listed items needed, set up a clean station, cook by following the recipe(s), label everything, clean up equipment used. Set up for the next day.
- Food prep (reading recipes, gather products, following recipe, prepare items, cleaning up)
- Comfortable with commercial food service equipment (sauté, industrial Hobart mixer, proficient knife skills)
- Inventory management/food rotation
- Proper food handling
- Samples are received everyday. This contractor would ensure they're put away properly.
- Will work in the Corporate kitchen
- Take direction daily from From Client Brand Chef
- Will help in product development presentations
- Sometimes Vendors will come in to prep and the contractor will help
- Product development/concept/
- Will work in the Client Corporate Show Kitchen (This often includes videography/camera work when they’re working)
- Must practice Safe food handling
Experience:
- Experience in a Restaurant, Hotel, or Health care kitchen
- High volume prep cook experience is a plus
Relationships:
- Internal: Works closely with Brands Chef & Inventory Steward.
