JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:Responsible for assisting all customers with order entries and any inquiries regarding the company.
In addition, responsible for keeping all customers satisfied and happy with the company as their distributor and to accommodate them as best possible.
Solve customer problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists.
Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Input customer orders.
Input customer credits.
Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist customers with orders and problems.
Contact vendors and requests samples for customers.
Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
Perform administrative responsibilities such as checking faxes and mail on a daily basis, writing sample requests and special orders when necessary.
Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Schedule:The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmPosition Responsibilities:Position Responsibilities: Handle requests by various forms of communication and technology for orders, substitutions, and pick-up and return credits.
Provide customer support with special requests.
Assist various departments in the Distribution Center as needed.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
This position is open to local residents only, no relocation offered.
*Required Experience : 6-12 months in call center environment High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 6 months experience with data entry and working in a demanding customer service/ call center environment.
Ability to deal with customers on a day to day basis, via phone and/or in person.
Strong interpersonal and exceptional problem solving skills in addition to being a team player.
Excellent computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications : Some college, Associates and/or Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study 1+ Years customer service, call center and/or related work experience Foodservice distribution or related grocery, meat processing and/or manufacturing industry work experience
