Cortech is seeking a Data Analyst for our client in Pleasanton, CA.


The Data Analyst role is a generalist role, who will be responsible for supporting multiple teams for the LEAF Patient Monitoring System, a continuous monitoring system for pressure injury prevention. The role will involve supporting both external facing clinical support and sales teams as well as internal R&D and manufacturing teams. You will be partnering with teams to solve problems by extracting data and then analyzing that data to present actionable insights.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support to multiple teams and for developing tools to streamline and automate reporting processes. You will be responsible for interacting with both customer-facing teams, clinical support and sales, as well as business-facing teams, R&D and manufacturing.
You will be partnering with teams to characterize problems, identify the data needed to solve those problems, and then analyze the data and present solutions. A key aspect of this role will involve the ability to translate between what is being observed and what is being recorded in the data in order to inform the decision-making process.

Primary Responsibilities of Position:
- Manage routine reporting tasks and develop tools to automate and streamline those tasks
- Provide analytical support to sales managers in face-to-face customer meetings
- Provide analytical support to field staff in supporting customers
- Develop in-house tools to support R&D and manufacturing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, computer science, physics) or minimum of 2 years Data Science work in industry
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Fluency in Python and SQL
- Proficient in MS Office products
