Job Description:
Roles & Responsibility
- Designs, develops, delivers and supports enterprise scale ETL integration solutions using IBM's Info Sphere DataStage product suite
- One or more Data Methodology experience: Data Standards, Data Quality, Data Modeling, Data Profiling, Metadata management, or Master Data Management
- Expertise in SQL.
- Experience in configuring and extracting data from web services / REST APIs
- Proven ability to develop, debug, maintain, optimize, support, and test all ETL designs and code
- Gained expert level knowledge of Data Warehouse development and Production support
- Experience in Unix/Linux scripting
- Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical knowledge on IBM Infosphere Datastage ETL tool.
- Building data warehouses and designing ETL processes and procedures using tools. -
- Development and support for the Enterprise Data Warehouse and the Global Data Warehouse
- Providing integrated data services by loading data from multiple regions, applications and domains into one common format
- Supporting data for Regulatory reporting and analytics that will enable data-driven decisions to create a competitive advantage for the company MIS has an open Software Engineer position with experience in delivering ETL solutions.
- Business (Information) analysis and process design
- Data (information) governance and regulatory compliance
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in information technology or comparable experience working as a business partner or information technology professional desired
- Working knowledge of IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog / Cloud Pak for Data (preferred) or other leading data governance solutions preferred
- Working knowledge of data science and machine learning tools like: Alteryx, Knime, Informatica, etc.. and data quality / profiling tools like: IBM Information Analyzer"
