JOB DESCRIPTION:

This Data Support Senior Analyst position is on the FDM Data Management team within the Global Financial Control (GFC) - Finance Data Management (FDM) organization. The FDM Data Management Team drives improvement in governance and incident management tools and processes, partners with teammates and business partners to execute on these processes, and drives data issue resolution for issues impacting Finance reporting. This includes partnering with teams across the Enterprise to influence and understand Enterprise processes, and to communicate and drive adherence across Finance.   Responsibilities:   Administer the Core Finance Issue Management Process Facilitate collaboration with all parties affected by issues Contribute to data testing exercises, internal audits and regulatory exams Lead routines to maintain appropriate issue management process performance Escalate issues that need elevated management and governance Ensure compliance with Enterprise Data Policy and Standards for data issue management Maintain issue management procedures and evidence for compliance Collaborate with GFCI partners across the Globe Identify causes of data issues flowing into and through Finance: As potential issues are reported, work with data provider and impacted parties to ascertain clarity, components and extent of the issue. Work with analysts across Finance in order to perform a comprehensive assessment of impacts Quantify impacts in to order to effectively prioritize issues Identify and propose solutions and improvements to data and data sourcing processes: Work with data consumers, report owners and data sourcing analysts in order to develop work-arounds, enhance controls and propose solutions Partner with technology organizations to estimate costs of solutions Inform and educate interested parties at all levels of the organization Identify issue patterns and relationships in order to optimize remediation   Required Skills and Experience: Expertise with banking products and financial instruments. Expertise in data and reporting technologies Knowledge of Data management and/or Data governance Strong leadership for driving divided organizations to common agreement Communications for translating data issues into business impact Build Partnerships - Influences peers, colleagues, leaders and business partners to collaborate and deliver consistent quality results. Strong communications skills for articulating (written & verbal) progress of efforts   Desired Skills: Financial Regulatory Reporting Knowledge Knowledge of Global Technology, Enterprise Data Management & Enterprise Data Architecture programs, strategies and standard
