Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Quantifies number of hours to complete job completion.
- Determines installation schemes to establish project scheduling, crew sizes and duration of project.
- Evaluates all contract documents including all bid drawings, specifications, general conditions and if necessary, the project site.
- Determines scope of work for our trade and determines vague areas to qualify bids.
- Posts bid negotiations with client and Lee Mechanical staff to determine final scopes of work and assigns values to items that may be revised or deleted.
- Posts bid "value engineering" to help negotiate final contract with Lee Mechanical staff and client.
- Assists Project Management staff with pricing issues on major project revisions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Construction Estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
