Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Quantifies number of hours to complete job completion.
  • Determines installation schemes to establish project scheduling, crew sizes and duration of project.
  • Evaluates all contract documents including all bid drawings, specifications, general conditions and if necessary, the project site.
  • Determines scope of work for our trade and determines vague areas to qualify bids.
  • Posts bid negotiations with client and Lee Mechanical staff to determine final scopes of work and assigns values to items that may be revised or deleted.
  • Posts bid "value engineering" to help negotiate final contract with Lee Mechanical staff and client.
  • Assists Project Management staff with pricing issues on major project revisions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Construction Estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
