JOB DESCRIPTION :
This position will be responsible for leading distribution network workstream activities in support of customer and product portfolio transitions for the Research Chemicals business in PMT.

Support conversion and consolidation of direct customer supply chains to major distribution partners (PDPs), including tracking progress through order intake levels, tracking progress on order management workload reduction, and support demand forecasting changes between customers.
Drive inventory reduction through product portfolio consolidation and rationalization including:
• Catalog consolidation (develop MOS for portfolio review, lead master data implementation)
• Packaging size consolidation within the remaining products
• IOS/Excess disposition acceleration (track new and existing programs)
• Inventory movement/optimization across the distribution network
• Coordinate inventory write-off and disposal activities for all of the above where appropriate
Support marketing in developing customer communication plans for product transitions.
Lead implementation of freight recovery through FCA routing guide implementation and LaaS, including tracking freight spend across Research Chem.
Partner with manufacturing and shipping to improve efficiency associated with order management and pick/pack/ship operation through product and customer consolidations.
Basic Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience working in supply chain required.

Additional qualifications:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated deep analytical skills and experience with large data sets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Experience with Master Data Management
• Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and opportunities and to implement effective improvements
• Experience using Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools (SAP a plus)
• Experience and comfort using all MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to use influence to obtain business results.
• Experience working in a matrix organization preferred.
• APICS certification (a plus)
