JOB DESCRIPTION:

This exciting new role reports to the Sr.
IT Director, Relationships and Strategic Investments and plays a critical role in guiding investments in technology that will help this state agency meet its business goals.
And, as a seasoned leader, you will expertly be guiding a team of seven (7) IT professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct, lead and administer the Enterprise Architecture (EAP Practice within the office of I information Services to achieve the agencies mission, vision, goals, technology plan and management system.
  • Cultivate relationships with and maintain and in-depth knowledge of best practices in the following domains: Business Architecture, Business / Architecture Consultancy, Information Systems and Technology Architecture, Data Architecture and Architectural Governance.
  • Providing direction and supervision to staff including setting performance expectations, coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance.
  • Assisting the CIO in development and implementation of the OIS mission, goals operational policies and strategic planning.
  • Preparation, review, presentation, and execution of a biennial and interim budget.
  • Advise the CIO, COO, CFO, and other agency leadership in information services management.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of information technology services and project management is required.
    A Bachelor's degree in computer science, public administration, business management or another relevant field is preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience leading and supervising enterprise architecture.
  • 4-6 years of experience supporting technology of a health and human service organization.
  • 8-10 years of experience in IT management with executive level management experience.
  • Experience with data governance with a focus on strategic and tactical planning.
  • Ability to direct other technical experts as well as translate technical issues and ideals into non-technical language understandable by all level of management and customers throughout the state.
  • Proficient in facilitation meetings with groups of technical and non-technical participants
  • Strong customer service orientation with high degree of responsiveness to customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trend in the field of system architecture in a large complex organization.
  • Competence in leading teams and modeling professional behavior consistent with the agency's values.
