JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary
This is an Director level position responsible for the providing strategic input and tactical
execution of the RDC Supply Chain Operations in support of multi-hospital Division(s) (14 to 20+ facilities).
The position will be responsible for directing, implementing, and measuring all
current and future aspects of automation that are inputted into the warehouse.
In addition, this
position will be responsible for ongoing development and reengineering of future state supply chain
strategies around this and future automation.
This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse
operations functions including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, transportation, and
inventory management as it pertains to the use of the automation.
The role is also responsible for
ensuring the success of all hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and evaluation of warehouse
employees.
This individual is responsible for building strategic relationships and ongoing
alliances with key hospital and Division(s) C-suite leaders and other stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities:
Ensure that all components of the automation are maintained with internal and
external PM programs.

Set up training of employees on use of automation and trouble-shooting
techniques necessary in their daily operations.

Manage and make recommendations to the global supply chain performance metrics
to ensure operational performance goals are met throughout the division.

Identify, partner, and help drive execution of continuous improvement
opportunities within supply chain
operations based on results of operating and financial performance indicators through use of the
automation.

Support Supply Chain leadership in minimizing overall costs and maximizing the
savings and benefits attributable to implementation of the automation.

Identify and develop future strategic plans associated with the Companys /
Divisions warehousing functions.

Ensure consistent implementation of the RDC operating platform, which includes,
warehousing, transportation, and coordination with our key departments within the organization.

Responsible for ensuring the consistent operations of warehouse, transportation
and distribution through full utilization of the automation selected.

Assist in preparation of annual warehouse operation budget.

Maintain operating expenses based on an annual operating budget.

Manage Disaster supplies, processes, insuring warehouse is prepared to support
facilities in all Disasters.

Meets regularly with Division and Facility Senior Leadership and provides
Division, Facility and Companywide strategy related to the fulfillment operations.

Raise and resolve facility based supply chain issues and improvement
opportunities as it relates to warehouse service levels by analyzing the use of automation to
improve those service levels.

Ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed by the warehouse
staff.

Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers, and other team
members.

Ensure warehouse operations meet all department mandated timeframes and
deadlines.

Oversee the comprehensive Safety and Security program for the warehouse and
logistics operations.

Actively engages in leadership development opportunities and programs for all
employees.

Other
Performs other duties as assigned.

Practices and adheres to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

Education & Experience: (Required for new hires as of 6/01/2018)
Bachelors degree Required
Masters Degree Preferred
3-5 yrs high level warehouse Automation management Required
Multi-Facility experience
Preferred Experience in healthcare distribution
