Dock Associate Apply
Cor- Tech is currently hiring Dock Associates for the morning shift !! These are contract to hire positions and must have experience in warehouse/shipping and receiving.
Monday-Friday +some Saturdays
10am- 6:30pm
$19.00/hr
Job Duties:
The dock associate is responsible for physically unloading and loading trucks while maintaining a high level of organization during a specified shift to ensure freight is properly loaded and unloaded to facilitate on-time, error-free deliveries.
Loads and unload freight using suitable material – handling equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize RF scanner to allow package tracking to ensure on time, error free delivery.
Monitoring merchandise receiving reports for accuracy and completeness.
Cleaning and maintain the warehouse on a daily basis.
Overall experience in loading, unloading, sorting, scanning, know how to use manual pallet jacks
Strong organizational skills for coordinating shipping/receiving function.
Work flexible hours, as necessary.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
Standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling.
Frequent exposure to customer deadlines and a fast-paced working environment.
