Document Control Administrator II
A glimpse at the job:
Client Electrical & Power.
The Document Control Admin II collects, maintains, and distributes documents necessary to
define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that insure conformance to
customer requirements.
Requires the ability to maintain a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all
documents to be retained in the document control center.
Manage the operation of the document control center to ensure the users have the latest
revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
Knowledge and/or aptitude to learn Product Lifestyle Management system, Configuration
Management, and AS9100/ISO 9001 quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Have comprehensive understanding of the document management system and the standards
for compliance and control.
• Collect and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define
product configuration and control manufacturing processes as well as customer configuration
management.
• Timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensuring
that obsolete documentation are removed from distribution.
• Perform various administrative duties for the support of the Engineering Department.
• Responsible for Customer Web Portal communication related to documentation and
Engineering Department support
• Responsible for entering, modifying and ensuring the accuracy of engineering data loaded into production MRP system

Education and Experience -
• High School diploma minimum with 5 plus years related experience, two-year college degree
or similar highly desired
Skills and Requirements -
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions,
mechanical drawings and procedure manuals, standard processes and requirements
• 5-years' experience in a document control environment,
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with
enthusiasm
• Acute attention to detail
• Proficient in MRP system, MS Word and Excel software
• Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
