Job Title: Electrical / Electronic Engineer I Job Description (Tasks & responsibilities): 1. Prio 1: Manage DTC data review process for Gen 2 PAR ECUs: - Learn & execute review process for aligning with cross-functional teams for new or changed DTCs: Mandatory fields, HMI-relevant fields - Learn & execute process for uploading DTC information to central repository - Support as needed for driver display (HMI-relevant fields) discussions or updates 2. Prio TBD: Perform Pre-series Pre-build VEPS Testing: - Program representative bench of ECUs with vehicle configurations for upcoming plant builds to check for potential errors - Scope: - EMG Gen 2 PARs: EM2, EP4 (electric vehicle components) - CEEA+ architecture: Any other PAR or production SW package (81Z) preseries - Run tests, generate test results, perform 1st level troubleshooting for errors 3. Prio TBD: Assemble new "Truck-in-a-Box": - Assemble new TIAB with updated equipment (PCB boards, harnesses, ECUs) - Initial validation of ECU communication using multimeter & PC-based diagnostic tools - Research mounting solutions (shelving, etc) - Research power supply solutions (external power supply) 4. Prio TBD: Manage simple CWOs for module 835 (Gateway ECU) & 45N (Gateway parameters): - Perform initial troubleshooting & analysis - Indicate IMS charting gaps to ECU engineers - Answer when appropriate 5. Prio TBD: Manage Shopcall 1st level support for Gateway & related features: - Monitor Shopcall queues for team members & modules, especially: - Mod 835 (Gateway ECU) - Mod 45N (Gateway parameters) - Mod 80W (Maintenance System) - Perform initial troubleshooting & analysis - Address when possible - Escalate to appropriate team members as needed, indicating results of initial analysis Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in engineering required. - 0-2 years experience required. Basic qualifications: - Working knowledge in electrical and electronic hardware and software - Experience with MS Office Tools, especially MS Excel - Creativity for troubleshooting efforts, and E/E challenges - Willingness to learn new tools/skills and to adopt existing tools/processes - Team spirit but also an ability to work independently - Verbal and written communication skills - Detail oriented, with analytical and problem solving ability Preferred skills: - Experience with basic electronics, including troubleshooting - Experience with control systems, including troubleshooting - Experience with vehicle networks and electronics Division/Business Group: TT/SNI (Mechatronics Engineering) Work Location: The team is on a hybrid work schedule so the candidate will be required to work a minimum of 2 days per week onsite (possibly more depending on the required tasks), with other days remote (subject to confirmation of a sufficient home office set up).
