Electrical Design Engineer All Levels Apply
Level 1:
Firm understanding of fundamental electrical principals such as Ohm's law and Watt's law
Support the design, development, and substantiation of the installation of electrical components and system into retrofit aircraft applications
Ensure the design content conforms to the company quality system procedures as documented, the customer statement of work, along with applicable certification requirements
Work with ODA UM's and EASA CVE's to ensure designs are compliant to airworthiness requirements
Level 2
Prepare engineering product using applicable computer tools and programs maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and safety in product designs
Break down a SOW into smaller work packages and allocate work packages to other engineers
Communicating with customers and fellow team members. Presenting technical content to a wide audience and provide guidance and input to other team members
Grow in experience by accepting tasks in multiple disciplines
Ensure the design content conforms to the company quality system procedures
Level 3
Firm understanding of airworthiness requirements regarding the installation of electrical systems, components and wiring within an aircraft
Develop engineering statement of work in preliminary states of product/project development
Develop proposals to install various electrical components and system within an aircraft
Job Requirements
What You Must Have:
Level 1
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent area of focus
Engineering degree or 2-5 years of broad technical experience as a drafter/designer in an aerospace related application
Working knowledge of Microsoft products and AutoCAD
Ability to understand and derive multiple customer standard electrical system requirements
Level 2
Bachelor of Science Degree and at least 5 years of relevant industry experience is recommended
Engineering degree along with 2-5 years of broad technical experience as a drafter/designer in an aerospace related application; Or a non-degreed employee w/an equivalency amount of experience in an aerospace related career
Working knowledge of Microsoft products and AutoCAD
Level 3
Bachelor of Science Degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience is recommended
4-year engineering degree, preferably in a field that offers the opportunity to gain a well-rounded background (i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Software Engineering)
5- 7 or more years of broad technical experience in an aerospace related application or a non-degreed employee with an equivalent amount of experience
