Electrical Engineer (Building Power System / Lighting Design)

Immediate opening for an experienced Electrical Engineer with 10+ years' experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform design functions including sizing electrical equipment, calculation wire and conduit sizes, perform system load calculations, ability to edit specifications and provide lighting, power and fire alarm design layouts for electrical systems.
- Some job-site travel (less than 25%).
- Ability to lead and prepare the technical design on projects for client review.
- Incorporate strong working knowledge of engineering codes and standards.
- Effectively manage time spent on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently with team members and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- PE license.
- Must have specific experience in designing power, lighting and fire alarm systems for commercial buildings.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Software knowledge of E-TAP.
- LEED Certification and CEM a plus.
- Experience with BIM and/or Revit a plus.
