For this role at our client, assignment is contingent upon the Employer of Record’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (meaning two weeks have passed after the last injection of Pfizer/Moderna or two weeks after receipt of the J&J). In some locations, testing for COVID-19 may be available and/or required. Requests for accommodation will be considered pursuant to applicable law.

Highlight:
1. Operating machines listed below but do not need previous machine handling experience.
2. Manager will review and interview workers with any work experience/background willing to work in a factory.
3. Do not require Highschool diploma. Permanent role requires GED or highschool if converting.


The primary purpose of this position is to set up and operate equipment and processes for Operation of 2 and 3 axis CNC lathe and milling machines, Omada Press, manual lathe, milling machines, Plating equipment, Work from manufacturing information, drawings, and written and/or verbal instructions: Interpret detailed drawings/sketches, blueprints, manufactures specifications, etc., and determines necessary tools to perform required machining operations. Using material handling devices (Jib & B/C cranes and forklifts), loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator. Load, unload materials from equipment and move material to next operation. Perform minor operations on equipment such as: verifying oil levels and checking filters, etc. Works according to client values, procedures and policies Adapts to various situations and adjusts to shifting priorities. Team player - provides assistance to co­ workers i.e. training, handling, and/or measurements etc. Follows client established procedures to operate machinery and equipment. Performs a variety of in- process and integrity checks (electronic or manual), as required, in order to maintain specific drawing tolerances. Must be able to use close tolerance measuring devices (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.) and be able to perform measurement conversions, read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions. When performing the duties of this position, employee must be able to bend and stoop at the waist; crouch, stretch and reach, stand, walk, and rotate body. Job duties also require being able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull lathe drivers and other items weighing approximately 5 to 75 pounds over 70% of the time. Lifting of items up to 50 pounds weight can be expected of the operator. Awkward positions are sometimes required when changing tools and tool bars. Must have good manual dexterity for CNC and manual equipment, for grasping and handling tools, etc. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) of various types is required per the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) throughout the work area. Safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, apron, protective clothing and mask are required in all production area.
