Position: Python Developers
Location: Jersey, City, NJ for hiring event– Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home. Can sit in Jersey City NJ (1st preferred), Charlotte, NC(2nd preferred) or NYC, NY (3rd option based off office space)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract on w2
Work Authorization US,GC, TN, H4, OPT (must provide card expiration needs to be after 4/24/2024)
Interview Mode: Show up for hiring event, meet teams interested, receive offer before leaving (event is from 9:30-1:30pm so everyone gets a chance – it's possible to receive offer in first 30 minutes and then you can go home – manager's decide when you're interviewed. So it's also possible to have to wait a few hours (BRINGING LAPTOP OR BOOK TO STAY BUSY IS SUGGESTED)
Python Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 month + contract position.
Responsibilities:
- The individual selected for this role will be experienced and skilled in building and supporting highly dynamic, responsive web applications (Python, Entity Framework, SQl Alchemy) as well as be well versed in large-scale enterprise SDLC processes.
- The role will a key contributor in the design and build for a web application supporting the new metadata management solution for Corporate Treasury.
- The scope of the web design and development will include, but is not limited to creation of the web user interface, data input/update into heterogeneous data targets, database loading, access control and support to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements:
- Experience writing and maintaining RESTful services written in Python
- 5 years' experience in Python.
- 3-4 years' experience in databases Oracle preferred
- Experience working with REST API
- Experience working with JSON and XML
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
- Knowledge of Agile and/or SCRUM methodologies.
- Dedicated, self-driven and willingness to take responsibility and ownership of application
- Strong Problem identifying and solving ability and Excellent communication skills
