JOB DESCRIPTION :
CorTech International is currently hiring Fabricators for a well-known and very successful industrial supplier in Paris, KY! These positions have the ability to convert into a permanent position and are available for immediate start dates so APPLY NOW!

As a Fabricator, you will operate machinery and equipment to produce parts for an Industrial Warehouse as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency in the production process.

Anticipated hours for the Production Associate positions are as follows:
1st Shift - M-F 5:00 am-3:30 pm
**Please note, OT may be required, and if so it is mandatory! **

Responsibilities for the Fabricator position include, but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate tools and fabrication machinery including but not limited to roll form, brake press, punch press, rivet machine, etc. in accordance with OSHA guidelines and safe operating procedures.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance on fabrication machinery.
• Perform visual quality inspections of parts and address issues/areas of improvement.
• Notify management of issues or concerns in a timely manner (e.g. machine malfunctions,
• Ability to meet required schedule, safety concerns/hazards, etc.).
• Suggests improvements to promote quality, increase production, and safety.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and lean working environment.
• Wear personal protection equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Follow safety rules, procedures and requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and basic drawings.
• Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to visually read prints, work orders, production schedules, tape measures, and gauges, and inspect machines and parts.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must have manual dexterity in both hands and the ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
