Facilities Team Member / Cleaner Apply
Cor-Tech is hiring for Facilities Team Member for our client in Essex, VT.
PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
Candidate will Report to the Facilities Manager who is responsible for the direction of housekeeping services and other duties throughout the Facility.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works safely and efficiently. Notifies management of any unsafe condition.
• Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing the break room, restrooms, engineering/maintenance/QC office spaces and conference rooms.
• Empty and dispose of trash, recycling and compost in these areas.
• Empty and dispose of all cardboard, trash throughout assembly and warehouse space.
• Clean aisle ways in the warehouse and assembly space
• Maintains adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and all other miscellaneous custodial products.
• Cleans and organizes break room. Makes coffee, cleans sink, puts dirty dishes in dish washer and runs dishwasher and empty dishwasher when needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms/bathrooms several times throughout the work day using established practices and procedure. Sanitizes common touch spaces like counter tops, faucets, door handles, appliances, water coolers and time clocks.
• Cleans, dusts and wipes furniture, sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers, refill restroom dispensers.
• Assists with setup of Facilities for meetings, conferences, classrooms, and other events as needed
• Uses and maintains vacuum cleaner, brooms, mops, and squeegees for cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Follows instructions regarding the use of proper PPE when using cleaning supplies.
• Washes accessible interior windows and blinds as requested.
• Maintains clean work space and keeps janitorial spaces clutter free
• Ensures area around trash and recycle dumpsters are keep clean of loose debris
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Must be self-motivated and highly organized
• Ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Team Player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be extremely flexible to changing environments and have the ability to work well with others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
