CorTech is seeking to hire a Field Service Technician for our client in Fairfield, OH!

$24.00/Hour
Work Schedule: 8-5
• Typically Monday – Friday (8 hour days) with some occasional Saturdays
• A four-day work week (10 hour days) is possible if field production dictates
• Weekends and some holidays off
We partner with the local electric utility to provide a free service to its customers in selected neighborhoods This program relies on the Field Service Technician to install energy efficient products in the customer’s home to help reduce the electrical consumption. Technicians will also qualify customers to receive additional free services based on the homes energy efficiency. Contract can be extended up to 24 months.
Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):
• Installing energy efficient products in residential homes such as LED bulbs, low flow water aerators and showerheads, hot water tank insulation jackets, pipe insulation, foam sealant, and other measures
• Educating customers about ways they can save money by reducing their electrical consumption
• Accurately reporting installation measures
• Quality reporting to the Field Supervisor
• Documenting safety issues to management
• Safely driving work trucks/box vans to and from the customer’s home and office/hotel
• Participation in neighborhood kickoff events
• 50% travel time throughout K.Y./I.N. (Vehicle provided while traveling)
What we are looking for:
• A background in Sales, Customer Service, HVAC, energy efficiency, construction or related field a plus
• Ability to work with a partner with minimal supervision
• Ability to travel overnight throughout the workweek
• Excellent customer service background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong ethics and sense of responsibility
• Safety minded
• Ability to work to a deadline and in fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to speak Spanish desired but not required
• Production, Safety, and QA bonuses are possible though not guaranteed
