Filing/Records Disposal Support
MCB is seeking a temporary worker that will be tasked with a large-scale records disposal project in a file room located at 600 Washington, 3rd floor, Boston, MA 02111.
Disposing of these records falls under state and federal law and the confidentiality of records must be maintained.
MCB will train the temporary worker so that they can designate paper files as needed and understand agency standards pursuant to state and federal laws.
The project involves organizational skills and a significant attention to detail.
The worker will be involved in the verification of consumer status and the organization and/or disposal of paper filings, upon approval and as outlined in MCB's established policies and procedures.
MCB estimates that that the temporary worker will work 20 25 hours per week, 8:45 am 5:00 pm, three days per week, between Monday through Friday.
The contract for this temporary work will end June 30, 2021.
A CORI check and a HIPPA form will be executed prior to work being performed.


TASK TO BE PERFORMED:
Designate paper files/documents to be pulled, shredded and disposed of upon approval and in accordance with agency standards.
MCB will designate a point of contact what will provide approval and guidance as needed both in person and virtually.

Create and file paper documents on current and new registrants in accordance with agency standards
Verify registrant data and complete data entry into the agency's case management system (CMS) as assigned.

Minimal assistance with mailing projects may be requested by MCB.

Temporary worker will utilize agency issued laptop in filing to perform duties.

MCB will provide the temporary worker with a state issued ID for access.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, particularly with filing projects and data entry
Self-motivated, reliable and highly organized
Commitment to professional and quality service at all times
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Ability to maintain professional relationships with MCB staff
Must be flexible and able to handle a multitude of tasks
Ability to follow instructions and function both independently and as a member of a team
