Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to gain in depth business and operational controlling experience in one of the most dynamic businesses. You will be able to develop your controlling skills to become a true business partner and financial project controller. You will secure and optimize the utilization of resources by means of controlling financial affairs of the Function, especially in budgeting, project accounting and cost analysis. You will deliver meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis on functional financial performance, thereby supporting the OHC R&D Leader and Innovation (project) managers in making sound financial decisions. You will support business case creation/tracking, strategy execution by controlling the financial and business planning process of the Function.
You are responsible for
•Prepare monthly performance reporting for all stakeholders (incl. Business management) on R&D, selling expenses and ConQ, provide business case support, gap analysis, pro-actively initiate and follow up on corrective actions
•Lead and coordinate the business planning process (Forecasts, AOP) for R&D and selling expenses, in line with Business and Function requirements/ timelines.
•Manage Project Controlling for the OHC businesses including e.g. monthly reviews with Business and Project Management and play an active role in departmental and project team meetings
•Provide proper transparency of cost structure (eg. cost center and hourly rates) and advise on resource allocations, program management, and cost productivity initiatives
•Coordination of the Asset Management Process (eg. Impairment reviews)
•Ensure compliance with IFRS / PDLM / @Investor / ICS / Planisware requirements.
•Advise on and drive continuous process improvements and increase overall financial awareness through-out the organization
•Site controlling for Innovation Site Bothell
You are a part of
You are reporting into the OHC Head of Finance to support portfolio management for the OHC Business from a financial perspective. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
•Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
•At least 5 years working experience with business planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis processes, preferably working experience with cost controlling techniques/ROI mindset
•Strong accounting knowledge with emphasis on integrity and control
•Strong communication, team playing & influencing skills; Experience with change/project management; able to initiate and drive change across all levels of the organization
•A strong personality, you are able co-work with and challenge senior managers
•A drive to achieve excellent results
•You combine a helicopter view with the capability to focus on details
•Strong affinity with IT-systems (e.g. SAP, Excel)
