Cortech is looking for a Payroll Assistant 1st Shift Hours 7 am to 3:30 p.m.Primary Purpose:Provide payroll support under general supervision and following prescribed procedures and policies.Primary Duties: Process group sheets daily. Check, calculate and key group sheets into Kronos Timekeeping software. Work closely with plant supervisors to ensure employees’ pay is correct. Reconcile employee hours worked vs. hours allocated on group sheets. Reconcile payroll reports weekly. Process salary overtime semi-monthly. Calculate and process employee adjustments as needed. Reconcile and submit union dues monthly. Reconcile and process mass vacation payout yearly. Overtime is required to meet internal and external customer requirements. Monday payroll close overtime mandatory (if needed), other overtime asneeded. Perform other duties as assigned.
