One of our client is looking for Financial Advisor Associate in Plymouth, MN

Job Description

This is a rewarding position because you play an important role in helping clients achieve their life goals, such as financial security for loved ones and a comfortable retirement. The role is primarily an advisory or sales role.

Roles/Responsibilities

• You will be an integral part of our team by supporting the lead advisor/owner in servicing existing clients, growing his practice and by focusing upon new client acquisition and enhancing direct client relationships.

• Be directly responsible for the book of business (Prefer to have $5MM -$20MM of existing business) that he/she brings
• Work directly with clients, in collaboration with the lead advisor
• Find new prospects and schedule new appointments
• Support lead advisor in marketing initiatives to grow the business
• Generating additional sales and new clients
• Will focus on new client acquisition into the practice especially for financial planning
• Help bring new assets for being managed in to the practice
• Find life insurance/long-term care leads into the practice and work on helping clients get life/long-term care insurance.

Education & Experience

• Undergraduate degree
• Series 7 and 66 Licenses and Life & Health License required
• 2-5 years of experience in the financial services industry (familiarity with account types, mutual funds, stocks, financial planning etc.) preferred
• High level of comfort and familiarity with general technology and software applications (Microsoft Office products, social media, Smart Office, E-Money, Riskalyze and Pershing preferred)
