Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Analyst:

The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing the monthly internal financial statements as well as all monthly, quarterly and annual external financial statements/reports.
The Financial Reporting Analyst is also responsible for facilitating the intercompany billing/ settlement process, overseeing proper eliminations of intercompany transactions and preparing various reports associated with related party transactions.
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Preparing and validating monthly and quarterly financial statements and various management reports.
  • Recording and validating intercompany management fees and reconciling affiliate receivable and payable accounts.
  • Facilitating monthly intercompany settlement process.
  • Preparing various journal entries, reports and audited disclosures associated with related party transactions.
  • Preparing external third-party administrator invoices and associated journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Maintaining Hyperion maps, books, and reports.
  • Preparing audited annual financial statements and related disclosures (GAAP, OCBOA, and Benefit plans).
  • Routinely monitoring and reporting on new issued and exposed FASB guidance.
  • Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending efficient process alternatives, and facilitating implementation of such process improvements.
  • Requirements of the Financial Reporting Analyst:

    • Bachelor's Degree required (Accounting preferred).
    • CPA preferred.
    • Experienced in the preparation of annual audited financial statements and related disclosures based on U.
      S.
      Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting (OCBOA).
    • Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion or similar ERP system preferred.
    • Solid understanding of U.
      S.
      GAAP and the application thereof.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • 3 or more years of progressive accounting experience, preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience at a public accounting firm.
    • Healthcare Industry experience preferred.
    • Employees are required to be fully COVID vaccinated.

    Other Key Requirements:

    • Hybrid, required to be in the office a few days a week in Newtown Square, PA
    • No sponsorship or visa holders.
      No Corp-to-Corp.
