Premier Placements is currently seeking a motivated, enthused Food and Quality Supervisor with solid understanding of food safety and quality in a food processing environment.
As a Food and Quality Safety Supervisor you will work a 2nd shift work schedule, ensure that products meet or exceed compliance and quality, supervise FSQS/QA technicians in providing a safe and healthy work environment, assist with managing various FSQA/QA documentation including compilation of data and the preparation of charts and reports.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 1:00am (flexibility to work at least 2 weekends a month)

Salary: $70,000 - $78,000 with annual bonus incentive

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide safety training to employees, conduct safety audits, complete and follow-up of maintenance work orders, and completing the necessary documentation.
  • Dedicate time on production floor to learn about the daily work necessary to into producing a quality product.
  • Assis with the management of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point HACCP programs including prerequisite and supporting programs.
  • Responsible for auditing personnel compliance to GMP, SSOP, and other quality and or food safety systems.
  • Assure that nonconforming product is properly dispositioned and reported to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide appropriate administrative support to hourly associates in regards to payroll, attendance and other related areas.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a food processing environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, without sacrificing safety and quality of work.
  • Flexibility to work at least 2 weekends a month.
  • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills with a proven track record for meeting deadlines
