The Senior Software Test Engineer II will be responsible for the testing and validation of our clients industry leading suite of network monitoring solutions. Responsibilities: Responsible for system testing and validation of network monitoring solutions Develops new system tests for various customer configurations and topologies Develops creative test cases using best industry practices and prior knowledge Efficiently develop test automation in Python Manually author and execute non-automated test cases Assists development on bug fixes, bug isolation, and resolution Interface with customers as required to help isolate issues Delivers timely verification of fixes in response to generation of bugs Advocates, develops and deploys new testing/automation tools and concepts Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's Degree?preferred and/or equivalent in training and experience 5+ years in a software or systems test engineering role Testing experience with IP networking, routing or switching technologies Knowledge of database technologies, Rest API, or Selenium is a plus Hands-on engineering lab experience testing hardware or software Experience in formal software testing methodologies, including software development cycles, testing processes and standards Testing experience with embedded Linux systems Testing experience in an agile development environment Familiar with defect and test case tracking using tools Possess a willingness and ability to adapt to new processes, ideas, and concepts
