CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients.
We are currently hiring for General Assembler in Andover, MA.


$21-22/hour
Day Shift (A)
Overtime as needed

The General Assembler support builds of prototype medical devices and develop related processes.
The position is responsible for fabrication of medical devices per work instructions and work order deviations.
The Assembler will be responsible for completing and maintaining batch records for builds.
Minimal work in inventory control and tracking will also be required.
The work includes manual, some semi-automated builds and automated processes.


Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of prior assembler or operator experience required
- Prior experience in medical device industry preferred

Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Build devices per written protocol and approved deviation.

- Ability to follow work instructions and operate semi-complex equipment, as necessary.

- Ability to run automated equipment, perform set-ups, troubleshooting and components exchange
- Complete and maintain work orders paperwork.

- Recommend improvements to the processes, as needed.

- Delegate Operators tasks
- Assist with receipt of raw materials and components, including unpacking, coordination of release testing and documentation
- Pre kitting Work Orders
- Good organizational, documentation and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with capability of working under minimal supervision; delivering on goals and quotas as assigned
- Must be able to quickly learn how to assemble numerous and various assemblies
- Must be able to read and write English, and follow instructions written in English
- Must be timely
- Be willing to identify and communicate Quality or Safety issues immediately
- Experience with automated equipment, able to follow machine set-up instructions, batch changes and machine maintenance
- Experience in clean room environment and medical device production
- Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working on minor mechanical trouble shooting issues
- Experience with micro-scale assembly
- GMP regulated environments experience
- Experience working with automated equipment
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
