JOB DESCRIPTION :

General Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review work order. (Notes/special instructions).
  • Examine coils for defects.
  • Remove coils that were rejected and dispose of.
  • Separate coils by color.
  • Rewind rolls left loose for topcoat cure.
  • Flex material that was cooling.
  • Labeling of finished coils.
  • Steel strapping finished coils to ensure they are stable.
  • Packing small coils in boxes once recoiled.
  • Cut rolls. (When working on the production line)
  • Perform winder-coil changes. (When working on the production line)

Experience & Qualification:

  • Minimum 2 years of Manufacturing experience required
  • Great comprehension and interpretation of work order instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent ability to communicate with management, office staff, and external customers.
  • Must have a positive attitude and outstanding attendance quality.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift finished rolls and edge banding boxes. (less than 40 lbs)
  • Consistently and repetitive movement of the hands, wrists, and fingers
