JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Regulatory Reporting Operations team member joining the Global Banking NFRR Operations team, you will be responsible for the production, review, and submission of various Canadian and/or US regulatory reports in a complete, accurate and timely manner in conformance with regulatory instructions. You will manage the day-to-day reporting processes and controls while conducting QA activities related to one or more AMRS NFRR reports under Global Banking Operations, supporting Business Banking, Enterprise Credit, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate and Investment BankingResponsibilities:Understand regulatory reporting requirements including process and data needed to create and manage the reportUnderstand and execute the requirements of a Report Preparer within the regulatory reporting policyIn partnership with Compliance and Legal, understand any new Laws, Rules and Regulation changes and assist with identifying impacts on the regulatory reportFollow issue management process to ensure risk/issues (DART/eIMS) impacting report are identified, tracked, and resolvedMonitor and execute controls to track report(s) completeness, accuracy, and timelinessProvide metrics on performance of these processesTimely response to regulatory inquiries and internal audit reviewsConstant process review to look improvement either to drive efficiency or increase controlEnsure desktop procedures contain production process and control procedures including rationale for any exceptions to established control expectations and meet quality assurance standardsAbility to work under tight deadline(s) and/or flexible schedule to meet regulatory reporting obligationsRequired Skills:Minimum 5 years' experience in Global Banking Operations in business controls and/or line operations function.General knowledge and experience with one or more non-financial regulatory reports and laws, rules and regulations in Global Banking.An understanding of Global Corporate and Investment Banking, Global Transaction Services, and Banknotes products, services and processesOrganized with an exemplary attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Stakeholder management with regional senior executives in Global Banking Front Line Units, Compliance and Operations/Technology functions.Management reporting and governance necessary to highlight effective/ineffective reporting practices and issue themes.Other Qualifications:Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions.Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward.Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner.Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change.Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base.Believes in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world.Enterprise Role Overview:Provides technical and analytical support in a global markets operations function for one or more operations product areas. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May manage projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes, coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products. As a technical expert, may also function as an informal team lead, providing work direction and technical guidance to less experienced employees in resolving complex transactions and operational problems. Requires extensive experience in an operations support function with thorough working knowledge of fundamental business structure and operational aspects for specific transactions and products. As a technical expert, will consult on a wide variety of topics across functional and business support lines. To be used for employees in Global Markets only.
