Summary:
Client is looking for Test Lead that will provide support to the test planning and execution efforts for HL7 interfaces within the State Immunization Program. The purpose of the Tester 2 position is to promote and facilitate the exchange of immunization information sent via Health Level Seven (HL7) messages from Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to State's Immunization Information System (IIS), ImmPact. This person will implement and update interoperability processes as well as ensure compliance with CDC Functional Standards, current CDC HL7 Implementation Guide including State specific requirements. This position provides support to provider locations and EMR vendors by analyzing HL7 testing scenarios, troubleshooting HL7 errors and providing quality assurance reports. Preferred experience of ORU, VXU and QBP messaging as well as SQL querying. This position is expected to be a long-term contract position and will be 100% remote.
The Tester will partner closely with two other tester positions, the IIS Program Manager, IIS system engineers and various health care support teams to ensure requirements and data quality are adhered to.
The major areas of the Test Lead's responsibilities will be to:
Plan, coordinate and provide requirements to EMRs following defined specifications
Provide technical assistance with installation and implementation support services for HL7 interface connections for healthcare Providers and vendors
Coordinates and analyzes testing functionality of EMR vendors related to connecting with the IIS
Utilizes quality improvement measures to ensure ongoing quality of data
Complete and document user acceptance testing for IIS upgrades and fixes
