Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in HR providing general HR and payroll support to leaders, managers and employees.
- Experience with HRIS and time/payroll systems (Workday and ADP eTime a plus) and Windows based PC environment utilizing Microsoft Office suite.
- Intermediate MS-Excel skills e.g., V-lookup, pivot tables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player who seeks creative solutions to problems, as well as excellent attention to detail.
- Labor Relations experience in a manufacturing environment working with union a plus.
Responsibilities:
- As a member of the site HR team will provide general HR and payroll support to managers and employees and assist with union contract administration under the direction of site HR leader.
- Advise managers on routine HR procedures and policies.
- Assist with HR transactions in Workday and grievance tracking system in alignment with union contract.
- Responsible for routine electronic and paper Record Management.
- Engage corporate HR support to investigate and resolve matters as needed.
