Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features for web applications using JavaScript and Python
  • Code review other engineers' code to help catch potential bugs and learn more about [CLIENT] engineering practices.
  • Participate in team meetings by providing feedback and ideas for organizational improvement as well as sharing interesting technical learning.
  • Manage application deployments and troubleshoot issues if and when they pop up.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience
  • Flexible: Capable of working on multiple types of codebases
  • Focused: Delivers results within a given timeframe without going down rabbit holes
  • Curious: Strong desire to learn new things
  • Open-minded: Not averse to re-evaluating their position
  • Take ownership: Feels responsible for the code they write
  • Strong communication: Can convey technical info to a technical and non-technical audience, strong writing skills for technical documentation
  • Collaborative: Works well in a team-based environment with a delegation of responsibilities
