Cortech is seeking a Communications specialist for our client in Nashville, TN.


The Communications Specialist is responsible for communications within HR, to leaders and employees in affiliates, and to select external audiences, in particular focusing on building and sustaining tools that help affiliate staff enhance the patient experience. The Specialist will interface with all levels in the organization. Working closely with communications specialists and graphic designers, the HR communication specialist will be involved in the creation, development and implementation of a wide range of communications projects, including HR brand reputation, HR business partner communications, and will support Patient Experience initiatives, goals and objectives via a variety of print, digital and web-based channels with graphic design, layout, and visual principles, creative problem solving, and multifaceted communication best practices.

Requirements:
--Bachelor's degree degree in Advertising/Marketing, Business Communication, Writing for publication (Journalism, Advertising or Marketing), Design/Graphic Arts, multimedia or related field
--1+ year(s) of experience in Internal communications design, writing, and/or web/social media
--3+ years of experience in in the marketing, advertising, internal communications, design or creative field at in-house or agency environments
--Experience producing communication for employees and physicians within the healthcare environment

Job Description:
--Developing graphic design and content for the HR Portal, HR Connect, and other web-based platforms related to HR operations or communications

--Supporting the development of training curriculum for the HR Support Model project using expertise in distance / mixed media learning tools

--Developing and maintaining positive collaborative working relationships with all Centers of Excellence, key HR Service Center leaders, and other HCA leaders within and outside the HR organization

--Work with HR Communications Department to design effective materials and assets to be used by HCA business units, with particular focus on the Patient Experience initiative.

--Devise a communication strategy based on standard communication methodologies for promoting adoption of patient experience practices at facilities, and devise campaigns to promote specific behaviors

--Manage files and digital assets for proper project organization.

--Deliver all requirements within specified deadlines, in alignment with overall communication themes and project plans, with high attention to detail and creativity

--Establish and maintain professional relationships with print, graphics and marketing vendors

--Work with Group or Division HR leaders (when applicable) to develop collateral for projects developed and implemented in the division and potentially deployed in the enterprise

--Generate expansive strategy and content for field HR messaging including the patient experience excellence agenda, annual report, social media, and internal and external events

--Participate in the continued advancement of ”People, Performance, Possibilities” messaging and the HR brand and culture

--Proficiency with researching, authoring, and repurposing content for internal or external media

--Excellent understanding of design standards including brand development and management, typographic treatment, layout, packaging, visual balance, color usage, and user interfaces

--Excellent time management and professional collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities to produce committed results with quality on schedule.

--Experience in special events coordination

--Proficiency and experience in designing PowerPoint or Keynote presentations, working with templates and embedding multimedia within presentation files.
