The <strong>HRIS Manager</strong> oversees the Human Resources Information System platform for the Life & Safety business to ensure accurate data capture and effective system processes. This position manages the system's functionality, data administration, interface with other enterprise systems and functions. </p> <p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Support all HRIS systems (needs analysis, research, design, testing, quality control, deployment, training, delivery, and administration)</li> <li>Plan, manage, and successfully implement new and cycle-based HR projects or upgrades that impact HR applications</li> <li>Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and SMEs within the organization about HRIS strategy and direction</li> <li>Coordinate with Information Technology and the user community to identify areas of improvement, recommend changes, and implement functional solutions</li> <li>Document and develop workflows and influence the HR and business teams to optimize the system, automating processes for efficiency</li> <li>Direct, support, and develop small HRIS team to achieve goals and project work that supports improved functionality</li> <li>Responsible for the overall training of HRIS systems for the organization, documenting processes and workflows for SOP's and training others</li> <li>Serve as support to the entire HR organization and partner with other functions on projects as needed</li> <li>Leadership: manages one or more individual contributors; adapts department plans and priorities to meet short-term objectives; develops direct reports and handles more complex management issues; has ability to make hiring and correctional decisions</li> <li>Interpersonal/Communication Skills: influences others outside of own area regarding policies, practices, and procedures; ability to communicate to leadership</li> <li>Problem Solving/Decision Making: identifies and solves problems with focus on optimizing systems and solutions for classes of problems; understands and recognizes broader impact across the area; decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures, and functional plan</li> <li>Functional Knowledge: significant knowledge of the area of responsibility; establishes policies and procedures on area of responsibility</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education</strong>: </p> <p>· Bachelor's degree in HR/IT/Business or related field </p> <p>· SHRM CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred </p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>5+ years in Human Resources with an emphasis on HRIS systems </li> <li>Advanced user proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud applications, with knowledge of modules including recruiting, onboarding, learning, career development, performance management, and compensation</li> <li>Demonstrated technical expertise with multiple software applications and ability to learn new software as needed</li> <li>Strong experience managing multiple high-complexity HR projects simultaneously and experience effectively communicating and negotiating resource, cost, and timeline information to our internal and external customers</li> <li>Understanding of Business Process Management, and ability to conduct business analysis and translate customer needs into technical specifications</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits & Compensation</strong> Want to love where you work?
