Intrado's Life & Safety division is responsible for some critical parts of our everyday life. Our solutions are responsible for everything that happens after a 9-1-1 call is placed – call routing, delivery, location determination and data management. Whether you call from a landline, cell phone or text 9-1-1, we make sure first responders get the right information at the right time so they can save lives. 

Intrado also provides notifications to the utilities, healthcare, and educational sectors. Our platform provides multi-modal communications that meet an individual's contact preference and routes over 4 billion notifications each year. At the end of the day, Intrado believes that keeping people in our communities safe, connected, and healthy is a top priority. 

Intrado is looking to a hire a HRIS Manager to join our team. The HRIS Manager oversees the Human Resources Information System platform for the Life & Safety business to ensure accurate data capture and effective system processes. This position manages the system's functionality, data administration, interface with other enterprise systems and functions. 

Essential Duties:

  • Support all HRIS systems (needs analysis, research, design, testing, quality control, deployment, training, delivery, and administration)
  • Plan, manage, and successfully implement new and cycle-based HR projects or upgrades that impact HR applications
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and SMEs within the organization about HRIS strategy and direction
  • Coordinate with Information Technology and the user community to identify areas of improvement, recommend changes, and implement functional solutions
  • Document and develop workflows and influence the HR and business teams to optimize the system, automating processes for efficiency
  • Direct, support, and develop small HRIS team to achieve goals and project work that supports improved functionality
  • Responsible for the overall training of HRIS systems for the organization, documenting processes and workflows for SOP's and training others
  • Serve as support to the entire HR organization and partner with other functions on projects as needed
  • Leadership: manages one or more individual contributors; adapts department plans and priorities to meet short-term objectives; develops direct reports and handles more complex management issues; has ability to make hiring and correctional decisions
  • Interpersonal/Communication Skills: influences others outside of own area regarding policies, practices, and procedures; ability to communicate to leadership
  • Problem Solving/Decision Making: identifies and solves problems with focus on optimizing systems and solutions for classes of problems; understands and recognizes broader impact across the area; decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures, and functional plan
  • Functional Knowledge: significant knowledge of the area of responsibility; establishes policies and procedures on area of responsibility

Education

· Bachelor's degree in HR/IT/Business or related field 

· SHRM CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred 

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Human Resources with an emphasis on HRIS systems 
  • Advanced user proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud applications, with knowledge of modules including recruiting, onboarding, learning, career development, performance management, and compensation
  • Demonstrated technical expertise with multiple software applications and ability to learn new software as needed
  • Strong experience managing multiple high-complexity HR projects simultaneously and experience effectively communicating and negotiating resource, cost, and timeline information to our internal and external customers
  • Understanding of Business Process Management, and ability to conduct business analysis and translate customer needs into technical specifications
