Our client is looking for a Sandblaster to join their team in St. Albans .
Sandblaster Duties:
* Operate sandblast machine to remove paint, rust, corrosion, etc. from various
forms of metal while wearing protective clothing.
* Responsible for shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine, and monitoring and maintaining an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper.
* Keep sandblast area organized.
* Communicate with team members when jobs are complete and ready for the next step.
*Track blast times for office use.
Skills, and Abilities Required:
* Ability to read and write
* Stand for long periods of time
* Good eye-hand coordination
* Lift 100lbs
* Reliable transportation
* Willing to become forklift certified if not already.
* Positive attitude is a must
