JOB DESCRIPTION :

Field Service Technician- Up to $72,800

We are a leading truck and heavy equipment provider, specializing in construction, utility and heavy equipment to provide support services.

Our company is currently seeking a talented field service technician with not only a passion for the mechanical industry and customer service and a strong military background to join our team.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary of up to $72,800 (DOE $54,100-72,800- based on $26-35/hr)
  • Mon- Friday 8:00- 4:30 hours
  • Paid Holidays
  • Dental, health and vision insurance benefits
  • Accrued Vacation
  • Company Service Truck
  • 40hr guarantee
  • Tool Insurance
  • $55/day per diem on travel assignment

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems (cranes, liftgates, snowplows etc)
  • Troubleshoot gas and diesel engines
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic equipment
  • Properly install, repair, and maintain all electrical components- 12V, DC, 120, 140, electrical schematics

SKILLS YOU'LL NEED

  • Solid technical skills and mechanical experience with hydraulic and electrical components
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills.
  • Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
  • Perform diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to travel long distances and work long hours
  • Must have own tools (A list will be provided)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 1+ year experience as a service technician
  • Must have own tools
