Human Resources Apply
The Human Resources person handles employee relations, payroll, benefits, and training. Plans, directs and coordinates the administrative functions of the organization as directed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of HR experience, Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, HR certification, Bi-lingual
Excellent communication skills with management and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ARE:
Employee Recruitment - Work with temporary agencies to setup candidate interviews.
Onboarding orientation and Onboarding documentation
E-Verify process, Drug Test Coordination, and Background checks
Payroll preparation and submittal, Personnel file management
Coordinate care for injured employees ??? This is of the outmost importance.
Ensures that all incidents are expeditiously and thoroughly documented
Submit claims to workers compensation insurance carrier
Follow up / communicate about claims with insurance carriers
Prepare reports to managers of tardiness, absences, and write-ups
Document and follow thru on disciplinary action of employees
Exit interviews and documentation
Manage benefits: Medical / dental / vision benefits - Enrollment, terminations, COBRA (TASC)
Open Door policy to address employees inquiries, requests, complaints.
Working knowledge of California laws and practices such as:
OSHA requirements
Overtime, Breaks and Meals periods
Paid sick leave
CFRA/FMLA
COVID Requirements
Those selected for an interview will undergo any or all of the following testing: Filing Test, Outlook Test, Typing Test
Shift: M-F 7:00 AM -- 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $22 - $25
Start Date: ASAP after meeting all pre-employment requirements
