Cortech is seeking a paralegal or administrator/specialist with labor relations or HR experience for a long term assignment to assist a Director of Labor Relations in the administrative duties/general dutiesof the department and research if necessary.Must have hands-on, extensive experience in both PC and mainframe computer systems as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analyticsMust have excellent analytical, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.Must demonstrate a high energy level, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.Strong decision-making, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills are required.Attention to detail are essential.Must be articulate, have a professional demeanor and have the capacity to deal effectively with all levels of management, Union personnel, Regulatory Agencies, and customers.Should have experience working in a labor/union environment.Prior experience in a labor relations position (grievance handling, negotiations, discipline etc) and handling sensitive confidential information, is preferred.
