INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

WHAT WE'LL DO FOR YOU
  • From $55,000-$95,000 annually depending upon experience
  • Generous paid holidays & vacation

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Here's the technical stuff but it's worth a read as this will be your daily to-do list.
  • Initial scheduling of project as well as continual monitoring and update of schedule.
  • Management for project team's work including the field foreman & ensure job site safety.
  • Ensure all field administrative duties are being performed correctly by Foremen
  • Responsible to maintain an over billed position, process receivables & retainages on a timely basis.
  • Major vendor equipment purchasing & subcontractor negotiations.
  • Maintain positive & professional relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors & engineers market company in all aspects.
  • Maintain shop drawing log including all shop drawings, O & M review, submittals & approval.
  • Continual cost monitoring to ensure project is being constructed within budget.
  • Price, negotiate & process change orders to our contract Maintain change order log.
  • Document all correspondence relative to all project matters.
  • Attend monthly Division Meetings, responding to any questions pertaining to assigned projects.
  • Make constructive suggestions to the Department Manager on improving procedures, productivity & efficiency.
  • Act as an estimator during slower periods of work.
  • Keep the Department Manager informed of major developments on every project.

  • Beautiful Altavista, Virginia
  • Day Shift 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • Monday thru Friday

  • Thorough understanding of the estimating process.
