JOB DESCRIPTION :
Scope: Maintain, improve, and update all IT Asset Management processes across Global IT Operations supporting all Johnson Controls business units globally. Key responsibilities include analysis and support of the Asset and Demand management organization. The role is very process and data led.

The IT Asset and Demand Process Analyst with be responsible for the accuracy of the process and procedure data. He/She will perform process writing, coordination all up process changes within the team. Work with all areas of the organization to collect requirements and changes to current and future processes.

Responsible for the interdependencies within the processes and the communication of risks and issues regarding the delivery of the processes. Key contributor to all lesson learn discussions and can be the familiar in some cases.

Consistently working and thinking about how processes are working and analysis how to improve them to make them more streamlined and efficient. Key contributor to process testing and implementations.

Impact: Implements tactical and strategic change. Recognized subject matter expert who regularly supports the business with significant latitude over outcomes. Integrates analysis of business process, objectives and strategic direction in resolving problems.
Knowledge: Broad business knowledge with specific focus on IT Hardware and software assets governance, and demand management
Problem Solving:
• Sound analytical depth, strong technical skills in finance.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract documents
• Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Provide advisories to senior management.
• Strategic consulting skills which move beyond adherence to specific analytical tools and methodologies; the ability to “think outside the box” generates alternative solutions for consideration, and provides comprehensive risk/benefit analysis on those alternatives

People/Function Management: No direct reports but could lead change or process initiatives

Supervision Received: Strategic direction provided. Must be able to operate independently with little direction. Must be a self-starter.

Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to achieve sustained customer loyalty with internal and/or external customers or stakeholders.

Interpersonal Skills:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated capability to successfully manage expectations of and relationships with senior executives
• Requires daily / weekly interaction with Executive Directors, Sr. Director IT, Sr. Manager Demand Mgt.
• The ability to influence and lead in driving change in the organization – often among more senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Education:
Required:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred:
• Technical writing skills a plus

Minimum Preference Experience:

Required:
• 5-7 years of process governance experience as well as experience training and coaching others on process work
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including the ability to produce executive-ready reports and presentations to succinctly communicate critical ideas and relevant metrics.
• Demonstrated analysis and problem solving skills using innovative thinking.

Preferred:
• Process development experience
• Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience
• ITIL Certification
