Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Security, CEH, GIAC, CISSP, or Azure Security and Compliance Certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with implementing Information Security projects. 
  • Azure experience preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the applicability of local and federal laws/regulations to company operations.
  • Experience/Knowledge with network security concepts such as Firewalls, IPS, VPN, Advanced Threat Protection, and Proper Segmentation.
  • Experience/Knowledge in the following areas: Active Directory, Database (relationships, tables, fields, queries, etc.) security concepts, eDiscovery, Endpoint security concepts, Encryption, Identity Management, Log Management, Email/Web filtering, Patch Management, Risk Assessment, and security principles/best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure information security efforts system-wide are adequately coordinated and in compliance with reducing the overall security risk.
  • Assess critical applications to ensure they are protected from security exposures and monitored end to end for up-time availability, confidentiality, and integrity purposes.
  • Interface regularly with various levels of the IT organization and the internal & external auditors to ensure timely test execution and issue resolution.
  • Initiate, design, and implement technology safeguards and processes to ensure that sites and computer systems are up to date relative to operating systems, security patches, and security protection software.
  • Work with the functional information security team through the daily management of information security tasks, including identity management, vulnerability management, change management, reporting, and audit facilitation.
