$27.50/hr
8-5 M-F

The position is responsible for the hands-on support and maintenance of the office and shop floor IT technologies used in the location.

-supporting office end users with their IT requirements including deploying new hardware and software
-deploying and supporting the manufacturing shop floor IT hardware and software.
-supports the management of the multi-function device infrastructure at the site.
-provide advice on improving the office and shop floor IT infrastructure.
-interacting with the Service Desk to expedite IT problem resolutions.

OPERATIONS:
-Provides end user support as needed to ensure 24/7 operation of the IT technologies used in the location.
-Provides after hours support for the office and shop floor IT infrastructure when on call.
-Installs IT hardware in the Data Center, Shop Floor and Office environment in the location.
-Installs IT software on the Data Center, Shop Floor and Office hardware as required.
-Troubleshoots IT outages and support problem resolutions as quickly as possible.
-Interfaces with Regional and Local IT management as required to keep the plant running.

STRATEGY:
-Help Local IT management to align IT projects, activities and efforts to the locations business objectives and with corporate IT standards.
-Helps the Locations IT Manager monitor monthly performance Key Performance Indicators as defined for the region and for the location.

PROCESS:
-Ensures compliance with all software licensing agreements. -Assists with managing software media and associated licenses.
-Tracks software versions implemented in the location.
-Where required, ensures compliance with standards and processes as defined in the ITIL definitions.
-Helps to ensure that all location IT functions and tasks follow the Corporate IT standards.

IT ORGANIZATION:
-Participates in corporate and regional project teams when requested.
-Participates in workshops, committees, task forces, workgroups, etc. Facilitates IT and shop floor technology meetings and user groups when necessary.

Skills:
-Microsoft Window 10 Operating System Microsoft Office 365 Internet browsers; backup technology systems; workstation peripherals; and print servers; firewalls, spam and antivirus, Computer hardware support, manufacturing shop floor systems including data collection and controls technologies; Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Domain Administration

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS:
-Technical IT Diploma/Education or 5 years experience IT client support
