Job Description:
Provides Information Technology (IT) coordination and support to the respective team in the pursuit of exceeding internal and external customer expectations; to deliver best-in-class support for value-added business systems and processes, and to maximize cost reduction/avoidance opportunities utilizing information technology.

Oversee and perform administration and maintenance of all PC, LAN, and WAN workstations/servers, networks, and related infrastructure including hardware, operation system software, and business Windows Applications software
Typically reports to local Plant Management, dotted-line reporting relationship to the Product Group/Business Unit IT Manager (PG IT).
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary IT support resource for PC/Server, MES, scheduling and shop-floor systems.
Analyzes system issues and provides solutions.
Escalates systems issues to specific Group/Corporate IT depending on predefined process rules
Responsible for the daily operations of computer systems including system administration, security, process adherence and documentation (escalation rules, contingency plans, asset tracking, license compliance, etc.
) equipment installation and system backups.
Installation and maintenance of equipment, application and OS upgrades, patches, new releases, and interfaces.
Develop scripts and programs to deliver applications and to collect shop-floor data
Serves as the key Plant IT contact for internal and external Customers
Communicates Plant IT business requirements and activities.
Ensures Company IT activities are communicated in a timely fashion to the Plant Leaders.

Acts as Project Manager for IT initiatives at Plant facility
Responsible for ensuring adherence to strategic IT initiatives, standard technologies, policies, security, and Business Operating System (BOS) processes throughout the Plant
Experience & Skills
Required:
2+ years IT or related experience
2+ years' experience in supporting Local Area Networks (LAN's) and associated equipment
Outstanding PC/Server hardware and software experience including Microsoft Office 2007/Win10
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Customer support experience coupled with hardware, software, and network support
Desired:
2+ years IT or related experience in a manufacturing environment
Shop-floor data collection, MES and barcoding systems experience a plus
PLC support and/or programming
Experience with Active Directory user administration
Education & Training
Desired:
Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Business Management, Computer Science, or applicable field of study, OR 5+ years related experience.

Certification in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Applications (MOUS/MCP/MCSE)
