Import Export Analyst III
PayRate: $22.50/HR




The primary responsibilities of this position are:
• Work with the USCA Refinish Export Compliance Coordinator (responsibilities detailed in the Global Export Compliance Manual and associated documentation)
• Work in conjunction with Export Compliance Coordinator (ECC) to process Export orders. Including:
o Maintain list of incoming and pending orders from PPG facilities around the world
o Maintain Excel spreadsheet with Tandem & SDI order numbers and PPG affiliate purchase order numbers
o Maintain complete record for each international shipment
o Communicate with PPG affiliates through email regarding orders, questions, requirements, etc.
o Work closely with Lima, Delaware, Springdale R&D, Oak Creek, Circleville, and Cleveland shipping departments regarding export orders, accurate documentation, issues, etc.
o Enter orders into the Portal as necessary.
o Work with freight forwarders, air and ocean, regarding necessary documents, details, etc.
o Enter booking requests into Express when required
o Create debits and credits for PPG entities and forward for approval
o Confirm Harmonized Tariff Schedule Numbers and Product Jurisdiction on each material being exported.
o Process invoices and SLIs for all Refinish International Orders using the Express and Trade Automation systems as required by PPG Corporate mandates
o Ensure pricing and transfer premium is correct on all invoices
? Review the following for completeness and accuracy and resolve open issues:
? Shipper’s Letter of Instructions (SLIs), Commercial Invoices
? Provide support to the Export Compliance Coordinator on various projects
? Distribute yearly price sheet to appropriate PPG International entities including transfer premium

Prepares import/export documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Calculates duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight and volume of merchandise that is imported or exported to foreign countries. Verifies that invoices are accurate in accordance with physical shipment and customer's SLI, volume, value of materials/goods, country of origin and other regulatory requirements May calculate value of duties and tariffs due on transported goods. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.
